
Pune: CA Sachin Miniyar has been elected as the Chairman of Pune Branch of the Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). CA Pranav Apte has been elected as Vice President, CA Nilesh Yevalekar as Secretary, CA Neha Phadke as Treasurer, and CA Pradnya Bamb as the Chairperson of the WICASA, a student branch.
The new executive committee for the year 2025-2026 has been announced. The newly elected Chairman, CA Sachin Miniyar, took over the charge from outgoing Chairperson, CA Amruta Kulkarni. CA Hrishikesh Badwe, CA Sarika Dindokar, CA Pritesh Munot, and CA Nandkumar Kadam will serve as executive committee members.

On this occasion, ICAI Central Committee Member CA Chandrashekhar Chitale, Regional Committee Member CA Rajesh Agrawal, CA Rekha Dhamankar, CA Abhishek Dhamane, former Chairman CA Kashinath Pathare, CA Moshmi Shah, and CA Ajinkya Randive, among other dignitaries, were present. The senior officials of ICAI Pune Branch congratulated the newly elected executive committee.
CA Amruta Kulkarni shared insights about the initiatives and work undertaken in the past year. She also informed that the ICAI Pune Branch secured the first rank at the regional level, while the ‘WICASA’ student branch achieved second place. She expressed gratitude towards all colleagues and staff members.

CA Sachin Miniyar stated, “I sincerely thank all ICAI members for giving me the opportunity to serve as Chairman of Pune Branch. Over the next year, my focus will be on three key areas – technology training, sustainability and eco-friendly initiatives, and infrastructure expansion.
We will conduct various beneficial programs for CA members and students. Currently, the Pune Branch has over 11,000 members and more than 25,000 students associated with it. Our aim is to provide them with the best possible facilities.”
